Central Station Alarm Association
The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) is a trade association representing providers, users, bureaus, and other agencies of Central Station protection services that are certified by a CSAA-approved Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), such as UL, FM and/or ETL. We are proud to represent the CSAA through our central station.
UL’s alarm system certification programs provide authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) and insurance companies with a convenient, reliable way to identify code-complying fire alarms and security systems. AHJs and insurers have found these programs to be a great benefit when assessing risk and determining ongoing code compliance with nationally recognized Standards and codes.
Central station companies provide around-the-clock alarm signal monitoring and reporting. They also provide the installation, testing and maintenance of the signaling equipment installed at the protected properties.
